This group is for cyclists of all levels who want to train for the annual Tour de Cure charity ride that is held at the Hillsboro Stadium (July 20, 2013) with routes of 5, 26, 43, 65 and 100 miles. Tour de Cure raises money for the American Diabetes Association and funds diabetes research, education and advocacy. What? Really underwater hockey? Underwater Hockey is a fast-paced, fun-filled sport for athletes of all ages. Unlike its on-ice counterpart, underwater hockey is a non-contact sport. While some jostling and bumping may occur, especially in competitive play, contact is generally not allowed, and focus is on fitness, teamwork and finesse. We started as a running group and are evolving into more, including swimming, cycling, multipsport events like triathlon and duathlon, and other activities such as hiking and winter sports. The group is completely free and open to everyone. All members are invited to add to our calendar and host meetups. We need and appreciate all the help we can get.
